I am the sole owner and operator of BS3DPrinting. My reviews reflect my own documented experience.
My independence
All product reviews published by BS3DPrinting reflect my independent experience and observations. Receiving free equipment, materials, discounts, or affiliate commissions does not guarantee a positive review. Any material relationships with manufacturers will be clearly disclosed.
Material relationships
I disclose complimentary equipment or materials, review units, equipment loans, discounts, paid sponsorships, and affiliate links in the individual review. I identify affiliate relationships separately from official sponsorships.
A product link marked as an affiliate link may earn me a commission when you purchase, at no extra cost to you. I do not treat a supplied product as free value; I state the price basis used in my evaluation.
My testing approach
I run a growing independent 3D printing business, not a large testing laboratory. Testing may include dimensional accuracy, print quality, reliability, material consistency, ease of use, maintenance, and practical performance.
I record the equipment, setup, print settings, preparation, testing methods, observed issues, and limitations for each product. A manual observation is not a certified laboratory measurement. Results apply to the tested product and conditions.
These methods describe how I may evaluate products. They do not imply that testing has already been completed for a product without a published review.
Ratings and publication
Each performance category uses a 1–5 scale, with half-point steps. A 1 indicates poor results, 2 below expectations, 3 acceptable results, 4 very good results, and 5 excellent results in the documented tests. The overall rating is the equal-weight average of the category scores, rounded to one decimal place.
- Filament: print quality, layer adhesion, consistency, ease of printing, and value.
- 3D printers: print quality, reliability, ease of use, maintenance, and value.
- Accessories: relevant categories stated in that review.
I keep drafts and unfinished testing private. Reviews include findings, advantages, disadvantages, conditions, dates, and relevant disclosures. I do not publish invented ratings or results.
If further use changes my conclusions, I can update the review and explain the change in the written review.
